DHAKA: General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) Shirin Akhter, MP, has sharply criticized Myanmar leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi for her role over the Rohingya killing perpetuated by Myanmar army.

Speaking at a human chain on Thursday (September 07), the JSD leader said that a befitting reply should be given for Aung San Suu Kyi, as her government carries on atrocity on the Rohingyas.  

Dhaka city unit of the JSD (the socialist party of Bangladesh) formed the human chain in front of the National Press Club in the city protesting Myanmar’s barbarism on Rohingyas.

Shirin Akhter said that many Rohingyas entered Bangladesh fleeing violence in Myanmar. Other courtiers should come forward also to give shelter the Rohingya refugees, she added.
