DHAKA. An alleged criminal was Wednesday found dead in an abandoned building near Noor Mosque at Polashpur under Kadamtali Thana in the capital city.

The deceased was identified as Sumon alias Patla Sumon, 30, hailed from Nurpur in Shariatpur district.

Kadamtali police said they recovered and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.

“A number of cases have been pending with Jatrabari and Shyampur police stations against Sumon,” a police official said.

Deceased’s family said he went out of house on Wednesday night at around 9:00pm but did not come back.

A case was filed with Kadamtali Thana in this connection.
