The government has announced a maximum application fee of Tk 200 for all jobs, including the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), to ease the burden on job seekers during the ongoing crisis.

Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, confirmed that a circular formalizing the decision will be issued within the next week.

Previously, the BCS application fee was Tk 700, while the maximum fee for other government, semi-government, and bank jobs was Tk 200.
