Ishraq Hossain, a member of the Special Assistant to the Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, has met with BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

He shared a photo of the meeting on his Facebook account on Tuesday night, captioning it: "Leader, motivator, mentor."

Earlier, on April 3, Ishraq traveled to London to meet with Tarique Rahman.

On March 17, a Dhaka court declared BNP leader Ishraq as the mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), cancelling the results of the February 2020 election.

On March 3, 2020, Ishraq, son of former Dhaka City Corporation mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka, filed a lawsuit with the election tribunal, demanding the cancellation of the DSCC election.
