DHAKA: The top leaders of ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance said that no dialogue would be held with BNP before 2019.

The next national polls will be held in 2019, they added.

The 14-party leaders came up with the assertion while addressing a rally in city protesting the ongoing blockade sponsored by BNP.

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim and Civil Aviation and Tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon were present as chief guest and special guest respectively.

Mohammad Nasim categorically said that Awami League, 14-party and Sheikh Hasina will not sit for any dialogue with the killers.

On the other hand, Rashed Khan Menon commented that conditions cannot lead a dialogue.

There is no chance of a midterm election, he added.

Menon also said BNP has to leave Jamaat and terrorism as well if they desire for any talks.
