DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed her deep condemnation over the Friday terror attacks in Paris that claimed over 150 people and left over 200 injured.

A statement, signed by BNP spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon, said on Saturday.

Khaleda Zia said, ‘I express my concern and deep condemnation in the terror attacks that had killed at least 153 people and injured several hundreds’.

‘I hope the people behind this terrible attack will come under trial,’ she added.

According to the statement, the BNP chief also said that she and her nation always stand against extremism and terrorism and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
