DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader asked BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to prove her allegation of ‘underhand’ plots in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) polls.

Road Transport and Bridges minister came up with this assertion while speaking at an AL joint meeting in city’s Dhanmondi area on Thursday (December 29).

The meeting was held regarding the preparation of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Home Coming Day on January 10.

He said everyone in country and abroad acknowledged the NCC election was free and fair, however, only Khaleda Zia claimed of conspiracy.

So, the BNP chairperson should give proves of the statement or have to revoke it, he added.
