BOGRA: Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is trying in various ways to influence the false cases filed against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

BNP’s vice-chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu came up with the allegation at a preparatory meeting, held in Bogra on Saturday (February 18), about the conference of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions’ Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal.

He further said the conference of Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal, scheduled to be held in Dhaka on February 27, will be made successful.

The BNP leader also said: “President Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia are the symbols of democracy in country. This is why imprisoning Khaleda Zia means imprisoning democracy.”

Dudu also said BNP will take part in the next poll and will win it to form the government.

Shamsuzzaman Dudu was the chief guest at the preparatory meeting.

Bogra district unit Krishak Dal vice-president Akram Hossain presided over the meeting where district BNP president Saiful Islam and general secretary Joynal Abedin Chan also addressed.
