NEW DELHI: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have jointly inaugurated a street in Indian capital New Delhi that was renamed after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
They inaugurated the street after holding the tête-à-tête and bilateral meeting at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Saturday (April 08).
India has renamed the Park Street in the heart of New Delhi after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as sign of friendship with Bangladesh.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) of the neighboring country took the decision on Thursday (April 06), a day before beginning of Sheikh Hasina’s four-day state tour in India.
