SATKHIRA: Police claimed to have arrested three teachers, who are also workers of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, from a clandestine meeting in Satkhira on Thursday (April 13).

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Syamnagar police station Syed Mannan Ali told Bangalnews that they arrested the Jamaat men from the Syamnagar Government Mohsin College in the evening.

The OC said that the Jamaat men joined a clandestine meeting there.  

The arrestees are-- Makbul Hossain, teacher of Raita Aminia Dakhil Madrasah of Kalaroa upazila, Sirajul Islam, a teacher of the masrasha and resident of Monirampur upazila in Jessore, and Dr Jahirul Islam, lecturer of Islamic History and Culture Dept of   Syamnagar Government Mohsin College.
