DHAKA: The ruling Awami League has rejected the ‘Vision 2030’ placed by BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, and claimed that the BNP chief duplicated the vision of the ruling party.

“The 37-point Vision 2030 of Khaleda Zia is nothing but mercenary, substandard, double-minded, idiotic statement”, said Awami League’s general secretary Obaidul Quader.

Obaidul Quader made the reaction at a press conference at Dhanmondi office of the Awami League president on Wednesday evening (May 10), just after the press conference of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The Awami League general secretary said that BNP’s vision is embezzling funds of the orphans and establishing Hawa Bhaban through corruption.

He claimed that Khaleda Zia’s Vision 2030 is a duplicate of the ruling Awami League. The BNP has introduced their unintelligence by duplicating the Vision of the Awami League as the ruling party placed such vision earlier, he added.

Obaidul Quader also said that the BNP’s mission and vision are protecting the war criminals.

He blamed the BNP chief for her statement about police and other law enforcing agencies. Her comment about law enforcers in not acceptable, he said.
