RANGAMATI: The local administration has distributed relief among the cyclonic storm ‘Mora’ hit victims in Rangamati on Saturday (June 03).

The district administration distributed a bundle of tin to each of 20 victims, while cash money and 20kg of rice were given to each of 100 victims in the morning.  

State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, Awami League’s central leader and Gazipur Zila Parishad chairman Akhtaruzzaman, central AL leader Dipankar Talukder, chairman of Rangamati Zila Parishad Brish Setu Chakma, district AL general secretary Md Musa Matabbar, municipality mayor Akbar Hossain Chowdhury and upazila nirbahi officer Mst. Sumni Akhter attended the relief distribution function with Abu Shahed CHowdhury in the chair.
