FENI: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has reacted to BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s statement that the ruling Awami League won’t get more than 30 seats in the next general elections.
Addressing a rally in Feni on Saturday (June 10), Obaidul Quader said that the BNP had the record of 30 seats. The Awami League never got 30 seats, he added.
Earlier on Wednesday (June 07), Mirza Fakhrul at a rally said that the Awami League would never get more than 30 seats if the next election is held under a neutral government.
Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said that Awami League won’t be ruined. Who tried to ruin the party, they had been ruined.
He hoped that the Awami League will come in the power again with a number of seats.
