BOGRA: Police have arrested a leader of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of the BNP, at Dhunat upazila in Bogra on charge of sabotage.

JCD leader Shaheen Alam, 28, was arrested from Biswaharigachha Bazar area under Dhunat upazila in the district on Saturday noon (July 01).

Shaheen is the son of Abu Taher of Biswaharigachha village and member of Choukibari union JCD. He is accused in four cases.

Sub-inspector (SI) of Dhunat police station Komol Chandra said that the cases were filed against Shaheen during the hartal-blockade of BNP-Jamaat.
