DHAKA: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the attack on party people and office in Munshiganj’s Lohajang upazila is a part of a bigger plot to destroy opposition parties including BNP. 

Condemning Tuesday’s attack, Fakhrul said the ruling party Awami League has established the rule of terror throughout the country to stay in power. They are deceiving people by false claim of development and conducting extra judicial killings, kidnapping on the side.

“The terror attack on BNP men’s home and office in Medeni Mandal union of Lohajang upazila carried out by Awami League cadres once again proved that AL is a terror-based political party. Countrymen won’t get back their rights until this voter-less party is removed from power.”
