DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said BNP placed the 20-point demand in the EC dialogue only to hinder roadmap of the upcoming parliamentary polls.
The minister made the remark in a press briefing at the secretariat on Tuesday (October 17).
He also said all the school-colleges and business institutions of the country will face closure if their demands are met.
“These proposals are illogical, abnormal”, said Inu.
Hasanul Haque Inu also termed the BNP’s proposal to hand over judicial power to the armed forces as ‘part of conspiracy’.
“Handing over the power (judicial) to the army won’t be right decision ever. BNP’s intention is to make the armed forces controversial”, added the minister.
