DHAKA: Awami League senior leader and public administration minister Syed Ashraful Islam's wife Sheela Islam is critically ill and her condition is unchanged till now.

Diagnosed with cancer, Sheela Islam is now undergoing treatment at ICU at UCLH University College Hospital in London. Syed Ashraful Islam is also staying there.

The news of her death spread on the social media on Sunday, but the family and the Awami League leaders living in the UK said that the news is not true. Sheela Islam is in critical condition.
