DHAKA: A Dhaka court has issued arrest warrant for BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman and the then chief reporter of a private television channel ‘Ekushey Television’ (ETV) Mahathir Faruqi, among three persons.

Judge of the Dhaka Metropolitan Court Kamrul Hossain Mollah issued the warrant after receiving charge sheet in the case on Monday (October 23).

The other convict is Kanak Sarwar, a reporter of Ekushey Television.

The case was registered on January 8, 2015.
 
Additional Public Prosecutor (PP) of the court Taposh Kumar Pal reported the matter to Banglanews.
