Don’t do politics over settled issue: Nasim

DHAKA: Awami League leader and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim asked BNP not to do politics over caretaker government issue as it is a settled issue.

He said this while speaking at the inauguration program of Health Camp of Dhaka Reporter’s Unity on Wednesday (October 25).

He said that the caretaker government is a settled matter. “Why waste time on it. There has been much speculation over it. It will not come back. Have faith in countrymen. We will accept whatever the mandate folks give us,” he asked the BNP.

Saying that the election will be held under the party's government according to the constitution, the Health Minister gave examples from India and America where parties failed in elections despite the fact that elections were held under their party’s governments.

DRU president Shakhawat Hossain Badshah presided over the program.
