FROM MOTORCADE: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that the attack on BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s motorcade was carried out by the ruling Awami League backed terrorists.

He made the remark to reporters in response to the second attack on Khaleda Zia’s motorcade returning to Dhaka from Chittagong on Tuesday (Oct 31).

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade came under attack at about 04:45 pm in Feni on Tuesday (October 28) on her return to Dhaka.

Earlier on Saturday (October 28), similar attack was carried out on Khaleda Zia’s caravan at Fatehpur area of Feni on her way to Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar.

Fakhrul said, “Both the attacks were carried out by the same people. I strongly condemn it and demand arrest of those who carried out the attack.”

On the other hand, BNP vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintu told reporters that Awami League's traditional habit is to carry out arson attack on bus and blaming it on others. This is an act of terror done by AL terrorists.
