FENI: Police detained four people following the terrorist attack on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade in Feni on Tuesday (October 28) on her return to Dhaka.
 
Feni district police said that they detained the four people for interrogation.  
 
The arrestees are- driver of Jamuna Paribahan Abdul Malek, driver of Choddyagram Transport Abdur Rashid, and two eyewitness pedestrians.    

Superintendent of police (SP) of Feni SM Jahangir Alam said that he visited the spot. The matter will be investigated speedy and legal action will be taken in this connection.

Khaleda Zia’s motorcade again came under terrorist attack and bombing at Mohipal area in Feni at about 04:45 pm.

Earlier on Saturday (October 28), similar attack was carried out on Khaleda Zia’s caravan at Fatehpur area of Feni on her way to Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar.
