DHAKA: The BNP has announced of staging countrywide demonstration on Thursday (November 02) protesting repeated attacks on the party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade.  

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in the city on Wednesday (November 01).

Senior other leaders of the party attended the press conference.

Khaleda Zia’s motorcade came under attack in Feni on Saturday (October 28) on her way to Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar. Her motorcade again came under attack also in Feni on Tuesday (October 31) on her return to Dhaka.

BNP and Awami League blamed each other for the attack.
