186 BNP men sued in Comilla

COMILLA: Two cases were filled against 186 BNP leaders and activists of Comilla on charges of arson and vandalism during their party chief Khaleda Zia’s journey to Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.     

Two cases were filed with two police stations- Comilla Sadar South and Debidwar police stations- on Tuesday (October 31).
 
Local Chhatra League leader Bhutto filed the case with Sadar South Model Police Station under the Special Powers Act against 43 identified, 30 unidentified BNP supporters.

President of Bagmara (South) Union Jubo Dal Manik Mia alleged that the Awami League activists torched an unused motorcycle then issued a false case against BNP leaders and activists to harass us.  
 
Meanwhile, local Juba League leader Abdullah Al Mamun filed a case with Debidwar Police Station against 33 identified and 80 unidentified BNP leaders and activists.

MP of of Comilla-4 Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi (Debidwar) said activists of the ruling party registered a false case after hurting BNP supporters and vandalizing 7-8 of their motorbikes.

Officers-in Charge (OC) of both police stations confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
