DHAKA: The BNP has announced a 10-day program to observe the 7th November, which the party terms as National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
The party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement following a joint meeting of the party held its central office at Nayapaltan in the city on Thursday (November 2).
Mirza Fakhrul said that the BNP has taken numerous 10-day programs from November 5 to November 15.
On the occasion, the national flag will be hoisted at the central office as well as the other party offices across the country at 6:00 am on November 07.
Floral wreath will be placed and Sura Fatema from the Holy Quran will be recited at the shrine of Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the city at 10:00 am. BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will join it.
BNP’s joint secretary generals, secretary of different divisions, and presidents and general secretaries of front bodies joined the meeting.
