SATKANIA, CHITTAGONJ: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader called upon his supporters to get ready with the boat to reach the people.   

He made the call at rally at Satkania upazila in Chittagong on Saturday (November 4).    

Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, advised his party leaders and activists not to take people with communal mindset. No one is allowed to follow his wishes in the party. Only persons who are eligible to the folks will get nominations, he said.
 
He also advised not to bring wicked people into the party to strengthen it. And do not to form a pocket committee.
 
“Make people happy, hold meetings in the courtyard, and ask for forgiveness if you caused hard feelings. These are the directives of the party,” he said.

The minister took part in several roadside rallies on his way to Cox’s Bazar.
