Kushtia AL leader jailed over illegal entry in JSC exam centre

KUSHITA: A mobile court awarded ten days imprisonment to a local Awami League leader for entering an exam centre of Junior School Certificate (JSC) in Kushtia on Thursday (November 09).

Ruhul Alam Biswas, organizing secretary of Mirpur upazila Awami League, along with some other party-men forcibly tried to enter the Mirpur Pilot High School centre minutes after beginning of JSC exam in the morning.

Police detained the AL leader and produced him before a mobile court. The mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Mirpur SM Jamal Ahmed sent him to jail with ten days imprisonment.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Mirpur police station Azizul Haque confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
