DHAKA:  Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader urged people not to disdain the historic 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, rather use it with due reverence.

As the chief guest, he made the remark while distributing books on ‘Bangabandhur Oshomapto attojiboni’ and 'Karagarer Roznamocha' organized at Teacher-Student Center (TSC) auditorium.

The program was organized by Chhatra League-the student front of Awami League on Thursday (November 9).

Obaidul Quader, also, the Road Transport and Bridges Minister added that, “UNESCO acknowledged this speech. We play it everywhere we wish. I request you not to play it in wrong places.”

Chhatra League President Saifur Rahman Sohag presided over the program while the organization's DU unit President Abid Al Hasan and General Secretary Motahar Hossain Prince also spoke.

The program was moderated by BCL General Secretary SM Zakir Hossain.
