DHAKA: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that anarchy of the ruling party is not being stopped as the number of missing people increases day by day.
He said this at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office on Thursday (November 09).
Rizvi Ahmed alleged that the opposition party leaders and activists are being detained on the false charges and being kidnapped, Killed and disappeared as the government wants to cling to the power through another voter-less election.
The BNP leader said that not only leaders and activists of opposition party but also businessmen, doctors, teachers, journalists, professionals and even ordinary people are not spared from disappearance, murder and abduction.
“Everyday the number of missing people is increasing. People are worried, because law and order situation is in turmoil, anarchy of the ruling party is prevails over every aspect of our daily life across the country,” Rizvi added.
On November 12, a rally has been planned on the occasion of 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day' at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.
The party Chairperson Khaleda Zia will grace the gathering. Huge preparations are underway to make it a success.
