DHAKA: Ahmed Kamal, the youngest brother of late president and founder of the BNP Ziaur Rahman, passed away on Thursday (November 23). He was 68.
He breathed his last at about 3:45 pm at his residence at Sabujbag in the city.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Jum’a prayers on Friday (November 24).
Kamal had been suffering from several diseases, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
He was the youngest of five brothers and a retired director of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation. Being a bachelor, he used to live alone.
