DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain alleged that the government wants to use Rohingyas politically.

Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain made the allegation at a discussion on Rohingya crisis organized by the Bangladesh Ganatantrik Sanskritik Jot held at the National Press Club conference lounge on Saturday (December 2).

The BNP senior leader also said that the government says Rohingyas will be sent back soon, but then again, it plans to create accommodation with an estimate of Tk 2,300 crore for them. So, it proves that the government is exploiting Rohingyas.

Also, he alleged that the number of Rohingya efflux to Bangladesh reached 10 lakhs due to diplomatic failure of government.
 
Former president of JASAS Rezabuddaula Chowdhury presided over the discussion, while BNP vice chairman Ruhul Alam Chowdhury spoke, among others, in the meeting.
