DHAKA: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the demise of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq created a vacuum in the country, which cannot be fulfilled.

Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remark in a response to the press in late Mayor’s Banani house in city on Saturday (December 02).

The minister also said that the mayor dreamt of a green and clean Dhaka.
 
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed remarked that the mayor’s honesty was unquestionable.
