DHAKA: BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas said that his party is prepared for both movement and election.
 
He made the remark at a roundtable discussion titled 'Nationalist Generation 71' held at the VIP lounge of the National Press Club on Sunday (Dec 3).

Mirza Abbas said Jan 5-like-election will not be allowed. Elections should be held according to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s outline.

Also, he alleged that government is plotting to punish Khaleda Zia by any means. 

Dhali Aminul Islam Ripon presided over the discussion, while BNP senior joint secretary-general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, BNP leader Abdus Salam Azad, Kazi Abul Bashar, Abu Naser Rahmatullah spoke in the program among others.
