DHAKA: Awami League presidium member and health and family welfare minister Mohammad Nasim has said that the BNP would join the next parliamentary elections and accept the polls result.
He said this while talking to reporters after joining a function of the Child Parliament, a platform for adolescent children, at Spectra Convention Centre at Gulshan in the city on Sunday (December 24).
Nasim said that the next general elections will held as per the country’s constitution. There is no scope to think alternative. Anybody can’t thwart the polls, he said.
He said that the BNP and some others tried to thwart the January-5 elections, but failed. They will be compelled to take part in the next polls, he added.
