Current JS won’t be dissolved during polls: Tofail

BHOLA: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed has said that the next general elections will be held under the incumbent government. The current Parliament won’t be dissolved during the polls, he added.

He said this while talking to reporters after a meeting of district Awami League in Bhola on Tuesday (December 26).

Tofail Ahmed said, “The current Parliament will continue during the next polls, as the tenure of the Parliament will expire on January 29 in 2019. So, the current parliament remains, at the same time election takes place.”

He further said that the election is held under ruling party in all countries of the world. No matter whatever BNP says, the next election will take place under present ruling party and this election will be conducted by election commission. There is no possibility of anything beyond it.
