BNP has called an emergency meeting of its National Standing Committee at 9 PM today at the party chairperson's Gulshan office in the capital.

BNP Media Cell member Shyrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter. 

Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will join the meeting virtually and preside over it.

The meeting will review the current political situation.
