DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is set to address media at party’s Nayapaltan headquarters on Tuesday afternoon (April 11) after the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s press briefing on her four-day state visit to India.

BNP took the decision at a meeting of Standing Committee on Monday night.

BNP chairperson’s press wing officer told banglanews that they will brief media about the topics discussed at party’s highest policymaking body.

Besides, BNP leaders will also highlight their views on prime minister’s visit to India and agreements signed there.

Earlier on Monday night, the highest policymaking body of BNP held a meeting, where secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar, Lt. Gen. (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, Dr Moin Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Mirza Abbas, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury also were present.
