CHITTAGONG: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that the ruling Awami League is gracing terror activities denying the fact over the attack on Khaleda’s motorcade.
“Who have attacked the BNP Chairperson’s Cox’s Bazar-bound motorcade in Feni Saturday is now disclosed to the nation. People have known this meanwhile.”
Fakhrul was talking to the reporters at Motel Shaikat in Chittagong Sunday morning (October 29).
“The government must take the responsibility of the attack upon the BNP Chairperson’s motorcade. Because, Awami League’s recognized cadres have carried out the attack. Meanwhile, their photos have been published in the newspapers”, he said.
However, Fakhrul further said that the law enforcers hopefully will ensure security for the BNP chief Khaleda Zia who has ruled the country thrice as the prime minister.
Earlier, on Saturday (October 28), miscreants threw stones at BNP’s motorcade at Nimchar and Debipur areas of Feni en route to Chittagong for visiting Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar.
