Moyeen Khan reiterates BNP’s demand of non-party govt

DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan has said that the next general elections won’t be free and fair without the non-party government system.

He made the comment while speaking at a discussion on ‘Acceptable Elections to Resolve National Crisis: Citizens’ Thought’ on Saturday (January 06).

Democratic Movement, a pro-BNP organization, arranged the discussion at the National Press Club in the city with its president Shahadat Hossain Selim in the chair.

BNP vice chairman Begum Selima Rahman, the party’s central executive member and Swadinata Forum president Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmatullah and another central executive committee member Khaleda Yeasmin also spoke it, among others.

Dr Moyeen Khan urged the leaders and workers of his party to continue movement until the next polls.
