Gangni Mayor jailed for 10-yrs

MEHERPUR: A district court awarded 10-years of imprisonment to the Mayor of Gangni upazila of Meherpur district and convener of upazila Juba League Ashraful Islam in arms case.

Joint District Judge Tajul Islam of Mehrpur Assistant Judge Court-2 delivered the verdict at 11:30 pm on Sunday (January 14).
