DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said the opposition BNP's proposal for a polls-time supportive government is conspiratorial.
Inu, also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu), came up with this remark at a press conference in his office at the Secretariat on Sunday (January 14).
The press conference was organized in response to BNP’s reaction over Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s speech to the nation.
Inu said BNP’s proposal of a supportive government is conspiratorial, as a ploy to spoil the election. It is a strategy to bring in an unusual government.
“They can not come up with a constitutional proposal on election for the last 9 years. Dialogues cannot be held only on proposal for the next elections,” Inu said.
