They made the decision at a meeting at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office in the city on Sunday night (January 28).
Khaleda Zia called the meeting to discuss the overall situation, particularly the issue of Zia Orphanage Trust Graft case trial.
The 20-party leaders apprehend that the government may try to split the BNP and the 20-party alliance if Khaleda Zia is convicted in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case. The verdict in the case is scheduled to be delivered on February 8.
Khaleda Zia at the meeting with 20-party alliance leaders asked them to remain united in the coming days to face any situation.
