DHAKA: The hearing in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case against BNP Chief Khaleda Zia was adjourned till February 25.
Judge Md Akhtaruzzaman of the Special Judge Court-5 in Dhaka’s Bakshibazar area fixed February 25 and 26 for the next hearing.
On Thursday (February 1), Khaleda appeared before the makeshift court at 11:23am.
The ACC filed the graft case against Khaleda and three others with Tejgaon police station on August 8, 2011 for embezzling Tk3.15 crore from the trust.
