KUSHTIA: President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has alleged that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is hatching conspiracy to thwart the next general elections.

Speaking at a function in Kushtia on Sunday (February 04), Inu said that Khaleda Zia can’t foil the polls. The next general elections will be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as per the constitution, he said.   

He was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of annual sports and cultural competition of Bheramara College in the district.  

Principal of the college Md Shamsul Bari presided over the function, while acting Upazila Nirhabi Officer (UNO) of Bheramara Md Rasel Mia and others spoke it.

Inu said that Khaleda Zia was involved in corruption and her trail is going on in the court. The government has no intervention in the trail process.

He said that the BNP-Jamaat is trying to carry out terrorist activities centering Khaleda Zia’s graft case verdict.
